Dog admission Q&A

Q1) May I join the festival with my dog?

Yes,you should pay attention to the following rules when you join the festival with your dog:

- limited to one dog for each person, so you want to enter with more dogs, ask your relatives and friends to come and take care the dogs.

- All participating dogs must be at least 5 months old and in good health. Bitches in heat will
  not recommend to be admitted.

- All participating dogs must be implanted with a microchip for identification.

- Under the current legislation, Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Japanese Tosa, Fila Braziliero and their crossbreeds are classified as “fighting dogs”, all of them are not allow to enter the festival.

Q2) May I join the festival with my cat?

No,Due to the natural habits of cats, it is not easy to adapt to an unfamiliar environment immediately and the outdoor weather is relatively hot,to ensure the health of cats, therefore, cats are not allowed to enter the venue.

Q3) How to avoid danger for my dog in hot weather?

Dog safety is our most concerned, so the dog activities will start after 3 pm, and we are encourage dog owner to help their dogs cool down in dog cooling zone. There will have water buckets in various places for you to use. Please remember to bring water and bowl for your dogs. Bottled water is also suppling in the venue. Our festival will open every day until 10 pm, so you can choose the admission time according to the daily situation. We also welcome you and your dogs to enter the venue at the evening to enjoy the sunset together.

Q4) What can I do if my dog unwell ?

This festival will have a pet first-aider, so if your dog unwell, please notify the event staff as soon as possible. The pet ambulance on duty on Hong Kong Island will also be on standby to escort dogs to nearest designated veterinary clinic when necessary.

Q5) Are there other safety aspects for dogs ?

All dogs entering the festival must be securely held on a leash of not more than 2 metres in length by a person at all times, and any large dogs weighing 20kg must wear a muzzle at all times.In Freeplay Woof! area, You must pay attention and monitor your dog's condition to avoid accidents.

Q6) If you are new dog owner and your dogs are unstable when they go out?

If your dog has the above situation, we welcome you to participate "Training Woof!" hosted by professional dog trainer, face the above situation together, so that your dog can have a happy social life and grow up steadily!

Q7) Other festivals will have food and beverages, hows dogs

Yes. There are designated F&B suppliers, and there are special meals for you and dogs, you can eat together!
